Sometimes you have an idea, but you don’t know how to make it a reality. Or you have a goal, but are unsure of the best way to attain it. We thrive on finding creative solutions to interactive and technological problems, and will work with you and your team to find the solution that works for you. Whether you are working on a new museum or an innovative product idea, we can help shed some light on how to make that concept happen.
Our bread n’ butter is making things. We love to sketch out interaction scenarios, write software, build hardware, order large quantities of LCD displays and whatever else is needed. Whether developing new interfaces using state-of-the-art technology or recycling old interfaces using state-of-the-art ideas, we love to see a concept materialize. We also understand the need for things to last, so design every project to have a fully-functional future meaning less work for everyone in the long run.
Much like a two year old, technology can be difficult at times. Sometimes it acts in an unintended way, or just refuses to act altogether. We have developed several systems that strive to take the hassle out for technology, using simplified management software and modularized (easy to replace) hardware components. We can devise a plan that will ensure that your project will have a long and prosperous lifetime, with as few road bumps as possible.
Mechanical buttons are limited by shape, size and durability. They often break or get stuck after constant use. We've embraced contact-less touch technology to surpass these limits, allowing us to create unique LED-illuminated buttons and surface projected multi-touch interfaces that are robust and low-cost.
In 2006, we created an installation that featured user-submitted camera phone images. The installation was designed for Bluetooth connections, however Bluetooth functionality is uncommon in South Korean handsets. So we had to develop a work around that would allow us to tap into their tightly-controlled networks.
